Monet’s Gardens at Giverny – Flower Montage

I think that these pictures can speak for themselves. They were all taken on our day at Monet’s Gardens in Giverny.

Everyone must visit these gardens at least once in their lifetime as it is just so special – but for now, please enjoy this small glimpse at its beauty.

The spectrum of colours was wild and bright, even under the grey skies of that day.

I am constantly amazed that a single flower can convey a human emotion when viewed at a certain angle and in a certain light – at times there were flashes of childish glee and adult hope. The bees rejoice in this Eden, find them scattered about harvesting the nectar of this blissful mecca.

But the stars of the scene were the waterlilies… out in full bloom Le Nymphea are a symbol around the world!
